The story of the piece

The print reads like a canvas: yellow, blue and green brushstrokes, with no repeating motif. On a light chiffon over a green lining, it shifts in tone with the light and the movement.

The ornate gold-and-blue braid runs the full height of the front and holds the whole thing together. It is a takchita for a big occasion — a wedding, an evening reception — for the woman who wants colour and not embroidery.
