The story of the piece

The same model as the sand djellaba — a straight cut, a hood, a tone-on-tone terz — in the indigo of the doors of Marrakech, repainted in spring. Here the contrast is deliberate: the terz is white, sewn in chevrons and arrows down the placket and at the cuffs.

Light gabardine, a hood that stands straight: worn with pale babouches. In the photo it stands beside another women's djellaba, grey with plum embroidery — two different looks, the same spirit.
