The story of the piece
A fine cotton, woven in broad stripes — green, sky blue, cream, sand — the colours of the medina's awnings and tents in high July. The only ornament is a bottle-green tone-on-tone terz down the placket.
It is a summer and travel gandoura: light, breathable, worn with matching babouches for Friday prayer or a day too hot for anything else.
The same cut is also made plain, in bottle green with a caramel terz — same gandoura, two colours.
